September 2 is the Last Day to Register for the Fall 2022 Semester

To be on full-time student status and hold a research or teaching assistantship, you must be registered for the Fall 2022 term for at least 9 credit hours for students on assistantships, and for at least 12 credit hours for fellowship students.

The deadline to register for the Fall 2022 term is Friday, September 2, 2022. Failure to be registered as full-time students by September 2 will result in a violation of visa status for international students and could result in a delay in pay for domestic students.

Sept. 2 is also the last day to add a semester course for Fall 2022 via Student Self-Service.

Remember that students taking research credits with an adviser before taking their preliminary examination should register for Phys 597, Individual Study. Students taking research credits with an adviser after taking the preliminary examination should register for Phys 599, Thesis Research.
