Department of Physics at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals has Faculty Positions

The physics department at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) is actively seeking qualified recent Ph.D. graduates in physics to fill vacant faculty positions.
The successful candidate should be able to teach undergraduate and graduate courses and supervise M.Sc. and Ph.D. students. KFUPM, located on the eastern coast of Saudi Arabia, is a leading university in the Arab World with an international reputation. It has an extensive library, adequate computing facilities, as well as well-equipped research and teaching laboratories. The Physics Department has experimental research facilities in laser and spectroscopy, magnetism, superconductivity, surface science, thin films, and applied nuclear physics. Start-up funding is available to aid in establishing research programs.
The KFUPM package offers a tax-free salary (starting at USD 58,000 per annum), a two-month paid summer vacation, and free furnished on-campus housing with essential utilities and maintenance. Also included are annual round-trip air tickets for the faculty member and three of his dependents, education allowances for children, and end-of-service benefits. The KFUPM campus has a range of facilities, including a medical and dental clinic, and a recreation center.
