Job Openings for Physics Students at NIST

NIST has several job openings: https://www.nist.gov/pml/sensor-science/employment-and-internship-opportunities
Could you help me promote this within the UIUC Physics Department?
In particular, one of them - my own (POWR – the top of the list) closes on Thursday on the official application site, USAjobs.gov: https://www.usajobs.gov/job/777877400 It has been open for 12 days there (they only advertise for 14 days).
Another job opening (LBIR – third one on the list) is going to be advertised on USAJob.gov later this month. This one might be of interest to someone interested in research in novel photon counting detectors since it is an application of superconducting nanowire single photon detectors – in the mid-IR!
Either my POWR or LBIR position would let students skip the post-doc thing and go directly to a permanent job! The POWR hire does not even need a PhD: It can be a masters degree with experience or perhaps even a bachelors degree with tons of laser experience.
Note that several other openings may be of interest to students in the Physics department. In particular the last one, called EUV Scatterometry Team Member is really for the CHIPS act although is does not say directly. It does say: “This new technique will fill a critical gap in existing measurement solutions by characterizing next generation structures with both chemical sensitivity and sub-nm precision. This will extend light-based chip inspection for several years beyond its current viability.”
