Graduate student Will Link has been selected for one of three 2009 LHC Theory Fellowships. These extremely competitive fellowships, funded by the National Science Foundation, are intended to stimulate the work of theoretical physicists who will interpret the treasure trove of data that will emerge from the Large Hadron Collider and to help the high-energy physics community take full advantage of the LHC.
Link has focused on developing tools to allow theorists to move more quickly from the Lagrangian to tree-level calculations. His thesis adviser is Scott Willenbrock.
